Thought Techincal analysis wouldn't work in this situation? 'Crystal ball' work, guess skk888's crystal ball has let him earned handful of profit when he buoght in at $1.39. Peter-Pan 'Crystal ball' of $1.255 doesn't since to be working well?

If your style is technical analysis, you should know that a bullish hammer was formed on the 14 Dec.

STOCKS NEWS SINGAPORE-Shares inch up at midday, Olam boosts

Singapore shares inched higher by midday, buoyed by gains in commodity firm Olam International Ltd and in line with other Asian bourses on optimism for progress in resolving the U.S. budget crisis.

The benchmark Straits Times Index rose 0.3 percent to 3,166.66 points, while the MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan was up 0.4 percent.

Olam shares rose 6 percent to S$1.48 on some short-covering ahead of the ex-rights trading date of Dec. 28 under its $712.5 million rights issue plan....

FENG SHUI for shortists have changed.   In the past 10 years, they (the shortists) were enjoying life to the fullest.   This time round, it could be the longists going to enjoy life to the fullest, and for many years to come. hahaha.   Shortists, please short some more, more and more, more, some more, because the market wants and needs you to contribute and repay what you have made these past 10 years. Lol.

Sg market has no advanced platform for trading stop losses, or trailing stops.   These platforms for " high fly trading" require very skilled IT maintenance staffs and good system software programs that Singapore brokers either lacked or refused to implement for reasons of their own agendas.

Only poems's " protrader" has an useful substitute function that a trader can use for something like stop loss and " self implemented trailing stops" . However, not everyone gets to be able to use it unless you have high trading volumes or pay for subscription for the " pro-trader" facility.

I think the lack of advanced platforms in Singapore is due to the brokerage firms' could not be bothered attitude towards business and clients' interests..   We don't have the right culture currently. Lol.

Dear skk88,

By the way...still waiting for your reply. Thanks!
