When you buy into this counter, wat is your strategy??????
Are you a short or mid/long term players.
You don't have to worry too much if you
are a mid/long term players bcos the dividend yield
is good. Anyway the dividend yield is so much
better than F/D.
i cant sell, i am holding...i will loose a 5-figure if i sell now.
die die oso must hold

hey Leinadgnow, if u playing contra, then good luck to u.
sometime we have to go through the up and down...
wait another T+3 days & see the performance again.
shouldn't let this to affect our work performance in office too :p
hey maxston .. im in the same position as you 1.17 with 20 lots.. down 1.5k .. but i think have to be discipline and time to cut .... yes, it will hurt and yes i am down about 35% of my liquid portfolio this month on 4 stupid trades that could have earn me way more due to greed. My suggestion (disclaimer) i think we should sell ... simply because what they say about MLT vs MIT is true. Why pay more for MIT when u can get about the same apple for MLT? think about it .. u go market.. 1 offer u china apple from guangdong at $0.50 .. the other offer u SHANGHAI apple at $1 .. both china.. both same.. both give u good filling (dividend) would u pay more for the shanghai apple? in time to come pple realize that the guangdong apple same as shanghai .. u think they still wanna buy the shanghai one? the only reason why shanghai apple go up is cause of the hype.. WAH SHANGHAI .. WAH MODERN CITY ... WAH NEWWWWWW but u think about it reasonably and considerably.. bo bei zhao one (no horse run) .. accept the facts. .dun speculate about the price anymore.. think about it .. and act on it...
:) its painful .. but sometimes u just gotta know when to let go.. btw.... u see bid ask volume now.. and the time/sale trade.. massive sell down ... retailers? idk .. i think got a few bb also ..
i am crossing my fingers too and i hope it can soon reach $1.3 by year end.

oh...so you also agree DPU is important...
I just wonder why U didn't put into your comment when you compare two trusts. (which important KPI)
let's see which one will give back the bigger yield(DPU).
browse the following link ...for a TRUE and FAIR evaluation/comment on MIT
http://sreitinvestor.blogspot.com/2010/10/ipo-of-mapletree-industrial-trust.html
Bonne nuit.
DPU matters..
Else why buy REITS ??
As for IPO over subscription, most IPO are oversubscribed .. How many times does not matter cos a lot of punters out there..
At the end of the day, it is abt the fundamental value of the counter...
Anyway, if you strong feel that MIT is a good buy, go ahead and hold...
As for me, I believed that MIT is ridiculously over-priced...

Think you missed out sthg in your comment...
Correct me if I m wrong,
I just extract the data from “the Edge”
Annual DPU for MLT = 6.02 (latest)
Annual DPU for MLT = 6.16 (forcasted for Y2011)
Annual DPU for MIT = 7.06 (latest)
Annual DPUfor MIT= 7.46
*in Cents
So does this DPU info matter???
I do not know how accurate abt the article on The Edge (pg 30-31) dated on 25th Oct 10. On the article, it states that there are rooms for MIT to grow. As the flatted industrial rental should rise within the next three years.
If this trust is really that bad, why was it over subscribed for 38 times?
Please enlighten me.
Thanks
