Rebounds happen all the time, any time...

Sometimes, even during intra-day, there's so much rebounds to benefit from... Smiley

This one no need to monitor once every day.

Once set my sms alert will do.

Just need to know when it hit 10 cents to buy.

Haha. Swee!

Ipunter is the guru (old master) that one should respect.  I hardly find one who can match him in wisdom, knowledge and experience of the stock market and how it operates. Newbies should find his advice useful and take his hints with seriousness without regrets.

Sorry for the late reply.

In the first place, I do not know what is the basis of your entry.

I always enter at a a precise technical point.

So I expect to be instantly right the moment I have entered.

And if it drops 2 clicks or so below my entry price, I dump at the speed of an eye's wink...

But that is because I am free the whole day.

If I am checking only at the end of the day,

I will market out the next day if the price is 2 clicks or more below my entry point.

Hope this helps... Smiley

Yes I'm starting to realise that as well. Can tap your wisdom for one question?

For someone who holds, do you hold through corrections or sell out then then buy in again on the up tick?

iPunter      ( Date: 07-May-2010 12:19) Posted:

If you are holding stock/s you need only check the price once a day...

There's really no need to 'monitor' every minute or every hour ... Smiley

Ya, I agree.

Since the market starts to slide, I only monitor it once a while, just to see where STI is.

This is why I'm so free and can chit chat here.

Once the Bull returns, I'm off to pick up some great bargains.

Even then, I don't monitor the market every mins. Fair to say, once a day is good enough.

yummygd      ( Date: 07-May-2010 13:49) Posted:

i dun monitor everymin. i go jalan jalan makan makan if got MJ Mjifnot go zzzor come here read about boy boy or ipunter or bon bon. very seldom i monitor market haha only sometimes. mainly bullish.bear market i go fb.
