Hi all,

haha... seems like many of you recommend that I visit China. Somehow, I still have a very backward impression of China. I hear stories of rude people and dirty toilets and streets. So that kinda scares me and turns me off. But then again, I have never been there before and I could just be prejudiced.

Sometimes, I think I worship too much on brokerages' TPs.  I bought into Ellipsiz because DBS Vickers announced an M&A or privatisation probability with upside potential to $1.10 by year end, or $1.06 for M&A.  But 5 days after I buy, it fell by more than 5%.  Sigh......  I think I must learn one thing in future:  If indecisive, remove the power cable from my PC and don't see any more counters.

No lah, cannot.  Want to go must also go in style what?  This is our last chance you know.  After that, don't where will reborn again the next time, maybe in Africa???  Then it will be miserable.  By the way, I believe in re-incarnation, although I'm no Buddhist.  Must tell my wife that it must be a 5-star coffin for me.  Cremation also need coffin what?

 

I remember some investment houses are putting the TP for Wing Tai at S$3.78 or thereabouts.

I think Wing tai shd be S$4 a share and comfort shd be S$2.4 a share.

Nowadays,no more coffin,u got cremated--plywood can lah.

My ComfortDelgro and Wing Tai are 10 years ago stories, same like my Allgreen.  So, now I'm holding them in order not to make another silly mistake like Allgreen.  Pray for me that I'm correct.  Like they say, these 2 could be used for my coffin money.

Wing Tai is like flying over the last few days.

Thank you for your consoling, but no choice lah, have to impose the cut-loss rule, which for me is -5%.  But with my lousy luck, maybe tomorrow it will rise again.  Just take it as an expensive lesson learned.  On second thoughts, should have used this loss to go attend a proper TA course instead, huh?  Anyway, luckily managed to offset the loss with some paper gains from my ComfortDelgro and Wing Tai counters, which I'm still holding.

Unloaded all my HPL already....was getting too hot to handle.......cannot rationalise the sharp price increases...so, since got enough profit, better let it go and let others (who are more risk takers) make the rest of the $$$.

Thanks so much for your reply.  I think I'll take a break for now.  Not much luck recently.  Sold my 160 lots of AG at S$1.51/2 last month, now it's S$1.81.

 

Bought 100 lots of Ellipsiz last week at S$0.995, today panic sold at S$0.95, making a loss of S$5,109.30 (commissions included).  Sigh........ Better to go and ZZzzzzzzzzzz liao.

 

 

 

haha, godpa, money doesn't drop from the sky lah. need to work for it... and in case ppl start to wonder: this kind of analysis i do might seem easy, but that's only 'cos i'm just sharing my neatened 'final results' with you. the entire analysis/thought process is actually more complicated--you can ask my godpa and bunnie. i think i kinda killed them when i tried to take them through my thought processes. haha.

shplayer, some fyi for you: HPL earlier run up was institutional sell, retail buy. Then they came out and said they aren't involved in F1 bid. Which caused HPL to drop friday/yesterday. But what i'm seeing now is retail sell, institutional buy. In large volumes, too. Something going on? Techs don't match the reported news. But then, news, as proven on this counter, have been shifty to say the least.

(and from STE thread: haha, yah, even after death cannot escape the paying...pun noted. :P)

 

victorian gege (something for everyone in the family *haha*) and all else vested: SMB nicely being bullishly bought up. EDMI being cold-palaced and controlled. SMB control at 28.5c, EDMI control at 38.5. Very fine balance btwn this mother-daughter pair. Likely 'cos BBs need to keep EDMI below its fair PE of 2x (41c), o/w, gonna have an EDMI chiong followed by SMB ramp up as daughter stock rerates and goes up to the UOBKH target of 53c or tech target of 52c, when BB accumulation still not complete.
