do get vested now. other renewable energy stocks ran up a lot already....it run up very fast if it is played and gets the attention.
load up before you are left out

u r all right. typed too fast. 70,000 shares. Wish i could afford 70,000 lots. If i had 16 million then no need to buy any more shares

there is a private placement of 0.30 which are taken up dmg and kim eng. aside from the dependency issue of the reports, i believe the prospects of this counter is very very bright.
profit taking happens every minute, but the trend is upgoing. look out for china gaoxian it will surprise all investors on the week of trading

load up before you are left out

i think he type wrongly. haha. 70 000 lots donno need how long to accumulate. and probably become substantial shareholder le. haha.

70 000 lots or 70 000 shares??? 16 million VS 16 thousand is very big different leh. And around last year oct - nov is not so good times to invest big as many national debt with krx war problem cause px falling till dont know what bottom it can go. With company not fully into Wind energy business and not so good fundamental, u siao and whack 16 million??? The most i whack is 150 lots at 190 after krx war settle down, u r play with fire, or u type wrongly.

Kim Eng recommends BUY with Target Price at 35 cents
Renewable Energy Asia (REA) recently said that it
is disposing of its fastening business for $7.6m.
We believe this move is a step in the right
direction and completion is only a matter of
time. The sale will allow REA to consolidate its
resources in the core renewable energy
business. We reiterate our BUY recommendation
with a new target price of $0.35, pegged at 11x
FY Mar12F PER.
The total consideration for the proposed
disposal amounts to about $7.6m. This
represents a discount of 12.5% to the NTA of its
Fastening Companies as at end‐March 2010.
Given a possible loss of RMB5.1m that will be
charged to the income statement, we have
tweaked our FY Mar11 earnings estimate by 19%
to RMB39.5m.
The disposal is subject to approval by the
shareholders. If they give the nod, the deal will
be sealed and REA can then focus on its
renewable energy segment while realising its
investment in the non‐core fastening business.
The sale proceeds will also come in handy as the
cash can be deployed to develop its wind farm
projects.
Separately, REA has secured a concession to
develop a 49.5MW wind farm in Binhai New
Area, China. Land and infrastructure resources
for the project will be provided by the Jiangsu
provincial government. REA, which owns a 49%
stake, and Datang Renewable, its JV partner, will
be responsible for the construction and
subsequent maintenance of the wind farm. The
total capex is estimated to be RMB500m, of
which 80% will be funded through bank
borrowings.
Life Is Great
70 000 lots at 22.8 cents? wow! that's S$16million!

If buying for the long term, I think it's safe to sit tight. In September 2010, Kim Eng rated it at a 'buy' with a target of 50cents. Price then was 34cts. ( http://theedgesingapore.com/the-daily-edge/business/19983-renewable-energy-asia-started-at-buy-by-kim-eng.html )
In October, DMG rated it a buy with a target of 42cents. ( http://www.theedgesingapore.com/component/content/21439.html?task=view )
The main reason I thought to buy it is because I work in the energy industry and know that China installed the most number of wind turbines in the world last year and their government is really really committed to building a green energy industry in the country. Because the Chinese government guarantees a good rate for buying power from wind farms, the income stream is as secure as the Chinese government's promise.
My main trigger for buying it is two articles in the The Edge where for two consecutive weeks in Oct-Nov, the MD or founder or CEO or some bigshot in the company bought millions of shares of his own company. I went in between 18Oct - 24Nov at an average of 22.8 cents. I bought 70,000 lots in total and will look to hold this till early next year at least because I think the earnings from the wind farms will be very substantial.
Profit taking just started . It may go back to 25 cents.
hi masterlim, i tried checking on sgx announcements but couldnt find any mentions of DMG buying at 0.3. there are mentions of some other people like XuJian doing a open market purchase, but just couldnt find anything abt DMG. mind enlightening? wanna learn how to source for information. thanks! =)

ho sei ..... more to come man .,..... dun sell now, dun block the way up ... tp 0.3
no. we are always constantly learning from each other. do check if unsure before get vested.

usually from sgx annoucements if identifiable. some others players are not identifiable unless annoucements are made. cheers.
masterlim, sorry for asking such stupid question, but do you mind telling me where do you get the information of which institutional players are vested in which counters etc from? thanks for your advice! =)

load up fiercely. the gem has risen from bottom px of 185 to 255. other renewnable counters have risen much more compared to this, if you have observed and done your homework. dmg is invested in the counters 0.3. looking more upside in coming weeks.
load up before you are left out

I think is better to stay-put at Renewable.
A little sangkok at the moment. Attention seem to have moved on to another MasterLim's pick, Raffles Education. Quite impressive chong this last hour.

now just got to wait for china closing and HK turn to positive later .... all will follow to cheong .... steady
I dont think it will rally this week. BBs will probably wait for fri to accumulate, and IF there is more upside, might only push it higher next week.
That is provided that there are still news that arent being published yet.
