Unfortunately, div pretty mediocre. 0.5 cents this time, earlier was another 0.5 cents. That makes it 1 cent for this year from a capital investment of 0.90-1.06 (depending on when you went in) to earn the full 1 cent div. And now, for the counter to drop to 0.75 c ? Say average bought price of 0.98 to earn 0.01 dividend. Dunno man. Current capital loss of 0.23 cts capital (ave price of 0.98 less current 0.75) to earn 0.1 is not good investment.

I feel that the result is still so so for a 700M company.
Wanted to buy again at 91, 86, 81.5, 76.5, 73, 72, 74.5.......but always ending with second thought.....

Results released. Revenue up but gross margin % seem to have dropped. Rev up 38% but GP only up 22.7%. Profit before tax also only up 28.5%.
Dividend declared but only $0.005. Uninteresting to be honest. Less than 0.7% return. Many other stocks around that rewards better. Even some cheaper China counters pay better dividends.

MIDAS POSTS RECORD FULL-YEAR REVENUE AND PROFIT IN FY2010
- Total revenue increases 38% to S$207.4 million profit for the year rises 29% to S$48.5 million
- Revenue from Aluminium Alloy Division rose 40% to S$199.7 million
- Share of profits from associate NPRT up 180% to S$9.3 million
The Company is not aware of any developments that will impact the business operations of its Aluminium Alloy Division arising from the recent personnel changes in the PRC Ministry of Railway.

Is the results out yet?
I think some big holders are playing up up up for a period of time during market upbeat and then down down down for the downturn. This way these big guys making so much profit over the years.
This counter is good to invest with every drop in its share price, and hold till the chart says sell.
Holding up the announcement is going to freak out the kateks today
