We real true blue Singaporeans have sacrificed so many years of our adult life to NS, missed so much opportunity costs in careers and businesses, but never even have a chance to enjoy facilities at club houses built many years already. Only recently remembered us, why hah?

Thank you for reminding.   The vouchers will only be sent to our mailing address and we have to log in.   If we forget, then the $80 will burn.   Why can't Police NS Dept simply send off the vouchers to us instead of having to log in?   Some people are busy and might forget.   I nearly forgotten about it.   Cheers

We small players don't ever think of going to invest in Malaysian properties. Beside the fickleness of policies of Malaysian regulators, (last time the $100K levy on Singaporean buying Malaysian properties took many by surprise) you don't know what is coming next, good or bad.   At least in Singapore, we know what bad is coming..hahaha (joke only) and we are prepared for it.

So for Iskandar, leave it to only the big boys like PL and our GIC.   They know how to manage our friends across the causeways.   Hahaha..

Yes, yes!   Welcome the NEW BULL RALLY that is likely to prolong for another 5 years, with intermittent corrections along the way.

The mid caps shall spike first, followed by pennies. So stay your pennies for a little while and wait until mid caps do a correction. Lol..

agreed with u

if ppl long Sg market their returns r really peanuts, diff for shorting as we all know Sgrean r kiasi one lol

properties in sg r indeed quite high alrdy, some more the minister cow tried tough regulation to suppress the market will only make more ppl lost the direction in investing. so for the time being dont invest in sg properties.

maybe ppl should look at iskanda (not sure how it spells). but since i nvr trust malaysia it should be fast in fast out type. the properties there will soon be like hot cake but u know lar those greedy malaysian ministers where got let this opportunity slip one. they just need to impose " all foreign buyers of properties can only sell back to malaysian only" then xiao liao lor

Now for developed and nearing developed status countries, properties are highly priced that only few can afford to buy.   Equities are for everybody who has some savings to invest.

In the context of cheapness, the stocks at the   STI are the poorest investment yielding. If you invested $10K in other markets during the last two years, you are very likely to have turned your money to $15K

Soon there will be a great migration of funds from expensive bonds into cheap equities. Properties are not the place to invest your funds in for now. At current properties price level, they are very expensive. Investor who wants to fight inflation will invest in equities because the valuations are very attractive at current levels.
