It's  my good  intention  that has also put pple's mind questioning my...,wondering out loud  why ??.
If I don post BBs selling, i'll be  doing a dis-service to  all concern retail  players.
(Will be just like CGX - calling to loadup, loadup before anything else)
Why Sold ?.  For re-distribute Ang Pao  to roll for tis CNY.
Always leaving some, oni pocket  a very small amount  of kopi $$, that it's  sufficient.
starlene, yes, agree with U that tis stk is on sound footing since it ipo-ed, fathom why Leading is  selling...?, then another or others  BBs got to  buy equally that much...search me. I m blank, that leave another BBs to push....Do watch out to see whether others BBs is buying over those 20 million shares plus, plus let go by Leading, or was it sold to retailers ?.
just sharing my thot

Teeth why U sold off so early $1.21...when U still positive that it can > past its high since T.P by most analysts are $1.54_$1.80,realled its related co STX Pan Ocean when listed dropped below ipo becoz London" s trains  were bombed by terriorists...later hit new high, while STXOSV never even dropped below ipo despite Korean tension N0n-Dec 2010...STXOSV is definitely good for cpf..throw them there and no need to monitor, will be richly rewarded, agree |

Thk, for sharing info on STXOSV,
teeth53 further thot-- Between Dec 14 to Jan 19,. Leading investment and Securities may sold more share without having to report. So do we know..!, can't exactly (not knowing they sold all or still retain some ?.)
" As long they do not

It is v common for them to sell some of their shares for investment purposes. For example ,take Leading Investment & Securities Co., Ltd ,a Korea investment -banking entity which spent approx 64 million to acquire STXOSV shares @$0.79.Till date they have sold and gain bk approx 20million of their initial capital outlay.Reason for selling is simple n could be many, reducing risks on a particular company/sector ,reinvest the money (20million)for other investment use and etc.
As long they do not sold off all their shares, there nothing to be alarm of.

STX OSV – Rising demand for rigs could keep yards busy | Keppel Corp hit the headlines again. It bagged another US$440m newbuild contract, this time from Ensco. The order is for two ultra-premium jackup rigs plus options for two more to be exercised by August 2011. This led us pondering if rising demand for oil rigs could lead to increased demand for offshore support vessels. Oil rigs require offshore support vessels for a variety of reasons – tugs to move rigs or heavy equipment/machinery, as a supplies vessel, anchor handling. Some offshore support vessels are even equipped with special equipment with fire fighting capabilities. STX OSV builds Anchor Handling Tugs Supply (AHTS) vessels and Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs). AHTS vessels are multi function vessels, which can handle anchors for rigs, move or tug the rigs to their destinations as well as transport supplies/equipment. Platform Supply Vessels on the other hand can be considered as the transport trucks of the sea. Their main function is to transport supplies, machinery and equipment. In our view, STX OSV could be a potential beneficiary from increasing oil rigs orders in recent times. The stock is currently trading at 8.8x CY12 P/E, slightly above offshore support vessels peer historical 5-year forward average valuations. However, in view of its scale and strong order book outstanding (estimated S$4.2bn for FY2010), we argue that STX OSV should be trading at a premium to its peers, and should be trading closer to the valuation multiples of rigbuilders. We have an  Outperform  recommendation with  TP  of  S$1.60, based on 11x CY12 P/E. |
