Sell now at above 1 dollar and buy below 70cents.

The contract is dry since 2011, now is 2013, 2 years without contract, orders from 2009 to 2010, all are delivered in 2012 to 2013, revenue and profit is drying in 2013. If no order in 2013, hohohoho......

In early 2012, when cosco and YZJ price surge to 1 year high, people like now shouting better year in 2012, what worst is pass, order will start to flow in, so what happen after that, NO ORDER IN 2012.

shout lah, you shout will come loh, WAHAHAHA.

Except offshore vessels, the rest of the vessels chartered rate are worse than same period in 2012, How order flow in???

It is like when your Condo  rental fee is extremly low and you have to pay the installment, will you buy another one?  WAHAHAHA...

Squeeze? Do you YZJ is very big meh, may be the one gonna squeezed to death loh. Wahaha!!!

Check online  lah, you know how late YZJ step into the only survival segment in current market, offshore market. 2 weeks ago, 1 pc 170mil Jackup rig. Wahahaha!!!

Go to check Cosco, since when they step into offshore? now they can build tender rig, jack up rig, offshore support vessel, multi purpose vessel, pipe lay cable lay vessel, FPSO, own exclusively SEVAN rig design.

Let see who is the gonna squeezed to death. Wahaha...

YZJ though they raised money through warrant can hide they are lacking of money. More to come!!!

Actually the more shipping & shipbuilding companies shut down in china, the better it is...   why?

Because after the shake-out, only the chosen few will   survive and gain market share afterwards.

Most likely, the small ones will get squeezed to death, while the big ones can still survive.

After the recovery, they will grow much stronger than ever before.

Btw, if you're concerned about why YZJ is issuing warrants, think again... $16m+ is peanut to YZJ. Why would they raise just a small amount if they really really need cash?

I believe they did it because they simply have nothing to lose.

As for citibank... they are just like an agent selling those warrants to BB(you can think of it this way:   you go to a local bank to invest your money in some kind of fund... will the relationship manager care whether you can get some profit/not? of course not, they only care about their commission for selling the products.). They don't really care how the warrant will perform as long as they can sell it out and make money. They should have thought of some strategy to sell it even before the deal.

Don't make me laugh to buy low now.

Go to check SGX website, except the 170mil Jackup rig (which is surely lose money project, Keppel need 210 to 230mil to build same rig), there are no orders or very little order  are secured since 2011mid till today, the revenue will just keep dropping and profit keep dropping in 2013. DBS and other brokers will just keep downgrading the share price in every quarter result release.

2013 recovery is just an assumption, till now the freight rate of shipping vessel are still close to record low.

Keep promoting loh to bring more people with you.

Once US budget talk start, I see what price will YZJ be, surely to be targeted by shortist.

Prepare to go horlan lah.

I wait for you at below 70cents. Wahahaha!!!

Thank you for warning.

Most shut down took place in 2011.

2012 is still a bad year for ship building and shipping.

But they are bottoming up in 2013.

Shipping and ship building has cycle and we are at the bottom of the cycle now.

Moving forwards, the downside is limited but the upside can be huge.

US is recovering slowly, China is bottoming up - just pay attention to China stock market and their shipping counters.

If you are a long term investor, now is the best time to buy when valuation is cheap.

I attended JP Morgan lunch yesterday and most high networth investors agreed that China and North Asia will be the region we will park our money for next 24 months.

Hope this will help.

You buy lah, I guarantee you got zero dividend after result release in Feb, YZJ price free fall like siao

Keep laughing everyday for those promoting YZJ. Like frog in frying pot, keep on shouting without knowing the water is going to boil and kill you soon.

Some even set warrant exercise price 1.50 dollars as target price.

Dream, dream dream, your money is burn burn burn. Wahaha!!!!

I think the recent drop in share price is just a knee-jerk effect.

It's a good buy to YZJ as the recent issue of warrant with a strike price of $1.50 provides some clues to the future share price. The warrant will only be issued to institutional investors. Since the strike price is $1.50 (almost 50% upside to the current share price) with 3-year maturity date. YZJ will definitely push up the share price in these three years to pass the strike price. Otherwise, next time no institutional investors will be interested to buy the warrants again.

All sg banks are in the same thing.   A couple of billions are in cc payments due from FTs and semi FTs who gone home already to buy cars, big houses and land. Will they pay up?   A credit card use of $20K will meant how many millions or billions at home for these FTs? Their salaries are higher than many locals here, and many locals don't get to be issued CCs.

citibank ?

i will not touch citibank shares. tell you why. do you know how they issue credit cards ? they issue credit cards easily to PRs from India and Pakistan, and you know what these India and Pakistan PRs did ? They swiped a few thousand dollars, then did not pay up and go back to India and Pakistan.

Of cors, Citibank can afford to absorb these losses, but it speaks a lot - where is their control ?

If you cannot even control the basic, I am not sure how they control macro issues.   Ask some sovereign funds (Middle East funds ?) how they fare in Citibank investments.

I think BUY is the word now.   BUY is the big word if it can go to $1.50.   Let the bbs chase it to $2.00 in 2016. Hehe.

akchua      ( Date: 17-Jan-2013 13:21) Posted:

The warrants is only offer to Citi group and the strike price is $1.50. Shareholder wont be affected until warrants are exercised when strike price is hit.

YZJ is not asking shareholder for money. This is not a right issue. LOL

If all warrants is exercised at $1.50, the dilution of YZJ stock is 8.6%.

But if you buy now at $1.01, your profit will be around 50% when strike price is hit.

Less the dilution, u still have 40% profit.

Spread across 3 year, your investment return will be more than 12% per annual.

On top of capital gain, u may get dividend, if any.

WallStreet3      ( Date: 17-Jan-2013 13:04) Posted:

maybe warrants issuance price of $ 0.065 = paying dividends to shareholders $0.055 per share in 2013 ?

then shareholders using own $ to pay their own dividends if basis above ?

So you receive dividend of $ 0.055 per share, you happy, but you forget you just pay $0.065 per share to buy the warrant ??

ah? I think u cannot lump it together ley, different division under CITI what.

u r right that market reaction says it all, how good a news it is as of now, it doesn't really looks good.

7% down upon news  announcement  is truth, real/paper loss, temp/realized loss still a loss as at time of speaking now.

long or short, need to be careful.

i personally holding 50lots though, yesterday add on 20lots. good luck everyone - especially longists.
