dont rely on somebody calling to invest mostly will lose money.
though my first pot of gold come from stock mkt, it was through shorting not longing.
so my take is tat unless u got accurate insider info otherwise stock mkt is tough to earn $$$ through longing, my personal opinion.
so rather long, u better short, however not everyday sit infront of the pc shorting also leh.
short on major events only. like now we r eyeing if Nkorean tat little boy foolish enough to shoot the 1st round or not. we surely hope he does but on contrary we also hope it wont happen otherwise many will die too.....
so for newbie my advice is short short short, n make one big short in ur life time accurately (how much depend on ur ability lar. last time i green horn first short big amount $$$ not scare die one, now? my short limited to 10K lost/counter only).
if u got ur first pot of gold, depend on how much lar, take some out for next short, the rest invest anything except stock mkt. then get back to ur work n earn a decent living first...till u got 7 properties n many reits n some silver bars then u can talk cock here.........but it takes many yrs.
SGXWINNER has a agenda la, they pick ULU / NO VOLUME stocks, ask group of people buy. then when pple buy, they sell.
a group of them are rounding up together, hunting him down already.

last week my 4 solar panels arrived n i tried to install over my pond using newly bought wires from Sim Lim tower.
lol the wires that i bought got burnt (fuse intact, omg). wire spec ok, puzzle so i went to sim lim again to buy from another shop, wires tat r from israel, 3 times more exp.
then i used a magnifying glass to inspect....wat i saw explained everything. the cheapo wires r sort of coated with copper like material n underneath kind of white material which dont conduct electricity!!!!
aiyo learn a lesson.......
is this a kind of inflation? paying the same amount of $$$ as last time for the same wires but the copper content got lesser....
seems everyone in business trying to 偷 工 减 料
Can't really blame them for making calls for others to buy or sell.
They may really be feeling 100% confident when they make those calls.
It is the fault of those who listened to those calls and acted on them.
This is because they had the free choice to listen to anyone,
no matter how wrong it is.
