i dont feel rich having 7 units under my armpit instead i m rich....rich till i sometime feel bore when my frenz all go offshore fishing.
being rich for me is living the way i like n anyhow park my car to get thing done n dont mind getting fine. so if one of this days sg collapse n everyone go bankrupt i dont mind either becos i ready to go a complete cycle again, sitting infront of my pc guai guai shorting the mkt.
u talked abt 15~20cycle? haha u really dont know anything about SINGAPORE property market so i shall not teach u.
most of the population r not genuine stayer so wat? ppl come ppl go just like my office ppl rent for few yrs go bust i dont care becos another one in the queue will take up n pay me higher rent.
yes singapore property is just for parking for time being, n the time being is 50yrs n by then i am long gone or reincarnated liao lol
maybe u can tell me where should rich men like us invest....since u said property bad in sg.

huat ah!! sibei song. profits almost 60k already.
Thank you Europe..... My Dow futures so green now..... LOL
Japan can back to live after many years of struggling...... But Singapore may not be back again after this crash......  Maybe more casino, redlight districts can help.... Thanks to  the policy makers.....  lol....
You can feel that you are rich owning property in singapore...... Just remember property cycle is at around every 15-20years...... And worse when the infrastructure is design for BIG population... it mean the bigger  impact of the downturn...... Most of the population are not genuine stayer...... To me, Singapore property is just for parking for a time being.... dont overstay...... LOL
I do not agree with you on holding properties in one country is STUPID!
To buy property in another country, you need to know their law, you need to know the maintenance std, etc.
Malaysia's law is close to Spore, but their maintenance is lousy. If you cannot rent out, you will find the fixture in your home disappear and also become a haven for drug addicts. If you rent out, you may not able to get your rent. If you chase them away, you will find your property on fire. All these can also happen in condominium where the guards are in cahoot with the thugs. On top of this there is currency risk. The RM will keep on devalue because the govt keep on giving goodies at every coming election. The charge to see a doctor is only RM1 even it involves operation and hospitalisation.
In Australia, in order to protect their own citizen, you can only buy new property but sell only to Australian.
Buying properties in foreign country  involves very high risk.

for oil to hit USD100 got to take note of the reasons:
1) USD inflated?
2) Oil scarcity?
3) Economy pickup n demand more oil
so u see the above points points to different investment decision hence got to be careful. my 2 cents what huh.....hee i lousy in english

few yrs back in the beginning of the credit crisis, all US properties fell like dominoes.
there was this lady conducting some kind of oversea properties investment soliciting $$$ to pool invest in Detroit. claiming the infrastructure is very undervalue n once crisis over manufacturing will be back bla bla bla.....
ofcos there were ppl tat believe n fork out $$$ to invest with her.
recently i asked my brokers to collect some investment info in asia, n also how the situation in detroit...oops ghost town still.
mfg will try to produce where the raw materials and the market are. who on earth will produce in US where the major rich men r in asia, esp china?
u want US n Europe to be rich again? yes possible only when younger generation in asia n china pick up the lazy habits, extend their credits n BOOM asia credit crisis happen n the cycle repeat itself but it will takes years to happen....so let invest in our territories excluding japan....lol
Earn first pot of money thru a big short??? Then you cannot survive long in the markets... To survive, you must know how to diversify your portfolio..... Having properties is no wrong, but in the same country is stupid.....rich to rages is very common sight.....  Exit is an art......lol
Can take some note when Oil price hit above US $100
