I am a newbie, I just followed my friends advice and when they play just copy them. some of my friends got more than 10 with lesser money than what think (still big but lesser). I can not tell you the details coz my friends also watching this forum and they know my ID.

maybe you use 2 accounts.
1 got 7 lots, another got 2 lots.
But then you have to put in more than 300k to do that and you must be very very lucky (got bull's balls) to be allocated for both accounts.
of course, there is a story behine it..

9 Lots? Based on published balloting allocation, its either 7 lots or 11 lots. 
But need to subscribe at least 500 lots to get 7 lots?!?!

China Oilfield Tech doubles in Singapore market debut
SINGAPORE, Oct 17 (Reuters) - Shares of oil-equipment maker China Oilfield Technology opened at S$1.20 on Wednesday in their stock market debut, double the issue price of S$0.60 in their S$127 million ($86.5 million) initial public offering.
The firm, which sold 127.5 million new shares and 84.1 million vendor shares in the share offer, said in a statement that the offer was 10 times subscribed.
China Oilfield, which operates in the city of Daqing in northeast China, said it would use the proceeds raised from the offer to increase output.
HL Bank was the manager, underwriter and placement agent for the offer, while Kim Eng was the sub-placement agent.
Oh... Then I will sell at $1.30.
