wow price went up suddenly n notice SELL queue massive pull out......any news??
so if u hold the counter n the offer price is above ur purchase price then u no need to be excited.
only those wanna take advantage of suckers should be very very excited.....becos it is just the opposite of shorting.....it is buying frenzy, so SHORTIES DONT PRESS WRONG BUTTON......lol
if the offer price is $2, the mkt price will jump very near to $2.
reason: if i hv shares i can sell to the bidder at $2(ofcos with some paper works that send to my hse), so if the mkt for some crazy reason below $2, let say $1.80. what u will do??? u will pay those suckers 1.80 (n somemore ask him still got any.....lol) n turn around sell to bidder at 2.
u may think tat there isnt such suckers rite.....well there r alot!!! becos they din follow news closely n when see mkt jump, they also jump to sell.......cheers

It is good, i hope u managed to buy a few at 1.48 last week to average it down, if u did u r in the money alr!
if don't just hold, it can be tempting for some to cut loss, but i think u have the financial, hold it for long, but i have to say the EU zone issue weighing down, it might be challenging to go back that 1.73-1.81 high level |

This counter looks like turning up
I read that they will announce the bidder as early as this week. If it is a takeover and offer price is $2? Will it be possible of the price to jump to $2? I'm not too sure how the announcement of the bidder will propel the price. Care to explain?

Singapore Hot Stocks-STX OSV jumps ahead of results

SINGAPORE Feb 14 (Reuters) - Shares of Singapore-listed STX OSV Holdings Ltd surged as much as 9.6 percent on expectations the offshore vessel builder's quarterly results would top market estimates.
STX OSV reports results after the close of trading hours on Tuesday. By 0833 GMT, STX OSV shares were up 8.9 percent at S$1.585 in a broader market up 0.2 percent.
Nearly 31 million shares were traded, 3.9 times the average full-day volume traded over the past 30 days. STX was among the top 20 actively traded stock by volume in the local market.
" Some people think they will report better-than-expected result," said one local analyst. He also pointed to M& A talk surrounding the company.
CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets said in a report last week that it expects STX OSV's 2011 net profit to be 3 percent above the street's expectation, driven by higher margins on 11 vessels the firm delivered this quarter.
A special dividend is also possible, CLSA said. It advised investors to hold the stock for a potential general offer for STX OSV at S$1.70, driven by STX OSV's parent firm's intention to sell its stake in the company.
Last month, South Korea's STX Group said it had chosen JP Morgan and Standard Chartered to manage the sale of its 50.75 percent stake in STX OSV amid ongoing fundraising efforts. (Reporting by Eveline Danubrata Editing by Anshuman Daga)
