I'm someone new to online trading. How to short and any charges for that? (apart from the usual transaction costs)?

i only say can short @ 0.695.... tomorrow friday..... not everybody holding over weekend..... some might sell...

peak is 0.695..... unless u damn lucky to short at 0.695..... who knows right.

Every counter can be shorted and money can be earn by both shorts and long.

GAR revenue good doesnt means price will always go up.

In fact it just drop from 83cents to 62cents in recent weeks.

Look at Wilmar and you can see why shorts will make you richer then longs (if you get the timing right).

Not shorting GAR yet.

Better don't short lah. You will get caught if you short as I believe this company cannot be shorted to make money. There are doing good business and big business too. Just look around and ask yourself which company is like GAR having revenues in billions of dollars, in US $ some more. But money is yours, you make your decision to short.

I'm not good at stocks. LOL! I only look at the chart, the trend, the index....and look out for unforseen curcumstances like war, disasters....! And I am still learning...

Just want to correct you.... I have short this counter and earn money out of it many times... We buy or short company not by reputation or revenue of the company....

Better don't short lah. You will get caught if you short as I believe this company cannot be shorted to make money. There are doing good business and big business too. Just look around and ask yourself which company is like GAR having revenues in billions of dollars, in US $ some more. But money is yours, you make your decision to short.

GAR will not disappoint me and I will keep this for 3 months like I said earlier to build the profits on this counter. This share is going to be the super performer of my portfolio. Very solid one. Don't trust me, just look at their financials.
