If long, sell off at 1.45 lor. Must exit before rebound loses steam and downtrend continues..

AFAIK, all shorts positions must be covered on the same day of trading or you will have to pay a penalty (considered at naked short selling) on T+4/5.

Please consider opening a CFD account for shorts, you can leave the shorts position open for 1 month  and roll-over with some small interest fee (provided there's no margin call over the same period).

I know that SGX impose a hefty fine for short selling or smth like tt.. Assuming I short sell YZJ today [Tuesday], I need to buy back the shares from today to Thursday? is this right? I entered long at 1.295 yesterday.

Looking to sell half if it breaks down below 1.350 in afternoon session and break even stop at 1.300 for the other half.

see, this is so typical of the chief behavior of this counter and Noble, they would see the free fall and not buying anytime during the fall but after pretty much then came with a clarification, buy before or at the time of annoucement.

It need not the buyback from the company but themselves. and they can be the one who cause the beginning of downfall in some cases when they sensed something very wrong.... like the previous chief of YZJ dumping lots of shares at he high of near to $2.50 last time.
