Honestly on the whole lost, 80% lost vs 20% winning.. I am not suggesting you can't make money. You can, but you have to be nimble and fast, and picked only the favourites.. You must take profit however small when your share prices start falling.

For stock investments, it has to be a long term estimation (valuation) of the company you want to buy the shares. Usually share prices move up when there is some attractive corporate action but the upswing also happens very fast before dying out. If you hold too long, the chances of losing money is also there.

Agree, that is called stock speculation/trading but not stock investment!

When the time is ripe, when they take the huge money from the table, that is when the market will start to move up slowly. I guess.
One must at least learn to reduce positions..... How many full market cycle can we see in 1 life time....
i think i must be screwed in the head....
i always just buy and sell only when there is a profit....
that said..... i never really made much but I have never realised a loss too.
paid for my 29 lots already.... i think i might just let this hibernate for a while....hope I won't have to wait more than 1.5 years
all your opinions and advice are appreciated though and i enjoy looking through your research.
i have missed the train by unloading prematurely quite a few times.... don't want history to repeat

Cut loss @0.915. Took a huge loss in my portfolio, worst investment in a single counter for the year. will keep at the sidelines for now. Will re-enter when i see an opportunity again.

I feel sorry for you but why didnt you unload when the sign was there....you still can come back again to buy at lower price...dont worry abt loosing your commission...its peanut as compared to 6K
