Seksun Buy-- The Sun is rising

With such a high dividend payout, how come people are not jumping aboard this counter? Anyone with good info?

A substantial part of Seksun being sold off at a good deal. A Good job being done here.

What will happen to the shares on hand, anyone know?

 

I was wondering whether should I sell my holdings on Seksun. Its trading at around $0.73. Not sure whether will get more profits by waiting for the cash distribution and a possible share buyback program?

Rose on speculation that it may be bought over by a private equity firm and merged with a competitor. According to a Dow Jones report, US private equity giant Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR) has shown interest in the company and is considering merging it with, which was itself recently bought over by KKR in a $1bn deal. Quoting an unnamed source at a local brokerage, the Dow Jones report said that KKR could be looking to acquire assets, repackage them and sell the combined entity at a better value later. 'By itself, MMI may not be enough for them to get good value,' the source said in the report.

 

Seksun jumped on rekindled talks of a takeover. Meanwhile, Seagate had just lifted its earnings guidance for the quarter ending Sep, leading at least one broker to say they might upgrade the HDD sector.

 

No more speculation now. They are indeed in some talk with potential investors as per the SGX annou. Great news. Tomorrow this is the stock to watch. Cheers.

the technical charts for this counter is very gd imho.. holding out pretty well even STI underwent correction last week.. 

 

will this fellow perform again? when the STI was down...Seksun went positive up...when STI was up today...it went negative down...However, can see the closing minutes buys

monitored this counter since last week's correction...it was one of the rare stock to hit its breakout on Friday and made a greeny positive....many still currently being queued to buy

 

guess this must be another take over target after Amtek. Hope that it will shoot

up like the Amtek's pattern from around 60 cts to $1.10 

 

 

It breakout resistance 0.725 and Dhigh 0.74, I think it will moe ptrend. Hope I'm right!
