Shares of construction firm Yongnam Holdings rose as much as 4.3 percent to S$0.48 with more than 38 million shares traded as investors await contract announcements by the company.
"The construction sector is still hot, and there is also talk that another round of contracts for the casinos will be announced soon," said a local dealer.
Sighhhh my resources are tied up with BanJoo and Jade. And obviously these 2 aren't doing good at this moment for me to jump ship.
Yongnam was mentioned in My Paper today.
Its rated "Outperform" based on CIMB research.
Tp $0.61, based on 20x PE.
Reason being there will be a few announcements from July till Dec for major contracts which will boost the company's performance.
There will be limited competiton, hence the contact values are expected to be high.

Two weeks ago broad sentiment and consensus of the brokers for price target on Yongnam IS 0.63cts. I am surprised CIMB-GK has just upgraded their tp. The beta is now 1.3 after the tp revision two weeks back thus we see more buyers these few days.

CIMB-GK has upgraded its tp from $0.41 to $0.61. Perhaps the analyst was working on the report then.
Agree... make the judgement yourself... Advise should only be treated as advise...
Maybe some managers want to sell off their holding, hence recommend you to buy... so be very careful...
But Yongnam should be a good bet... Recommmeded

Broker's advise should be taken with a pinch of salt. The firm in which they worked for MAY have deployed trading strategies in which may not be inline with yours.
On the retail front, one of their role is merely to 'encourage' you to trade more (by giving you 'tips' often) so that firm can earn the commissions. Of course they do wish that you win so that you will stay with them (thinking that they give the best 'tips') and trade more. :p
Like to share, have been advise by my broker to buy Yongnam and Standford Land.
