what if the director said that... let the price drive to $1.. then buy from there?.. )... he's doing the right thing still.... buying at the low

If capitalisation is drastically reduced by shares' price dropping

        like sheet, how can anyone say it does not affect the company?... lol...  Smiley

Share price must be at least around the fair value to the company's worth. If it's way far below it, investors' confidence will be lost. Many company's directors had recently bought back their shares to instill investors' confidence. When a Chief Executive   can say that he is not bothered about the company's share price, I think it's time for him to retire to let new blood take over. If not, just watch the share price sinking by the day when the market is in a bearish mood

ever since its chief-executioner liew-man-liong said he couldnt be bothered about the company share  price  (which was sinking/tanking/dippin/plunging/lau-sai by the day) and prefered to do what he thinks is right... i knew the only way is SHORT.

Capitaland:

To acquire remaining 50% interest in Innov Tower, a fully leased 23-storey office building located in Caohejing High-tech Park, Shanghai, with a total GFA of approx 40.4k sqm for Rmb298m ($56m). Co exercised its right of first refusal to acquire the property from CITIC Trust Co.

The price was determined by taking into a/c the agreed value of the property of Rmb976m (approx $182m), which is equivalent to about Rmb24.1k (approx $4.5k) psm ppr and the adjusted NTA of Rmb264m.

Co has been recently actively increasing its China portfolio, acquiring a residential site in Hangzhou and increasing its stake in Raffles City Shenzhen.

On Wednesday, Capitaland continue to trend aimlessly and closed at $2.54 with LOW volume of 15.08 million shares traded.

A long upper shadow occurred. This is typically a bearish signal (particularly when it occurs near a high price level, at resistance level, or when the security is overbought).

Three black candles occurred in the last three days. Although these candles were not big enough to create three black crows, the steady downward pattern is bearish.

Both RSI & MACD are turning flat as MACD lines began to converse together.

Important Resistance of Capitaland: $2.75

Immediate Support of Capitaland: $2.48

Currently prices are resisted by 20 days MA at $2.75

land sales tender for a 32,040 sqm residential site (GFA 80,105 sqm) in

Hangzhou's Gongshu District for S$213.27m which translates to RMB13,906

psm. The project is expected to yield 700 mid-high end homes on the site, with

launch of first phase expected in 2013. We believe post rights issue and

divestment of CMA, the market's focus on CapitaLand is now on the progress

of its capital deployment and we view the acquisition as positive. We continue

to like CapitaLand with its asset recycling business model as an integrated

developer with its multi-geographical, multi-segment exposure with two

additional channels of growth in Ascott and CMA. We have a BUY on
