Parkway Holdings: Fortis Healthcare to acquire 23.9% stake in Parkway
Summary: India’s fastest growing healthcare company, Fortis Healthcare Ltd, yesterday announced the acquisition of a 23.9% strategic stake in Parkway Holdings from TPG Capital for an estimated US$685.3m or S$3.56 per share.
According to Fortis, the acquisition will enable it to expand its footprint and place it strategically for geographical and clinical leadership in Asia.

We see this as a strong indicator of confidence in Parkway’s growth potential. We also expect potential synergy benefits that will help the group offer a global quality healthcare experience across the region.
We maintain our BUY rating and S$3.31 fair value on Parkway. Note that Fortis intends to seek four seats on the Board of Directors of Parkway and also nominate current Chairman of Fortis Healthcare, Mr Malvinder Mohan Singh as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Parkway. (Kevin Tan)

Who managed to get it at 0.165? Lucky fella, now close back 0.175. Hope can start to cheong soon. 0.25 target? Really hope so.
