This stock performed well last week even STI got hammered.  Anyone can share some ideas here? Can it be because of  ......
" Global Logistic Properties said it established a US$2 billion ($2.47 billion) Euro medium-term note program. The company also said it will offer as much as 3 billion yuan of fixed-rate notes under the new program. "

i believe is a good move to expand its business  to China rather than just focus in Japan.
year end financial results coming. so investors are anticipating big news from glp, i.e. whether got dividends, big china projects, etc. can see that BBs are blocking at $2 to collect at 1.99. if all goes well i.e. gd results n news, glp will fly.

To add: Do they intend to give out dividends? & When?

IMHO....GLP biz in JP will pick up. In fact, the recent disaster in JP did not post very big impact to the company.  Its current share price is attractive but you must ready to hold it as we do not expect its price go up very fast.
One question i have....anyone ever predicted its divident yield? |

In situation like this, whats is the implication on GLP? Doesnt look too good though.

GLP: UBS Securities BUY TP: S$2.71.
07 Apr 2011 11:44
UBS Securities - Since listing, GLP has
undertaken the acquisition of a 53% stake in Airport City Dev, the sole
developer of airside cargo handling and bonded logistics area in Beijing
Airport, as well as a 19.9% stake in Shenzhen Chiwan Petroleum Supply
Base, which owns BLOGIS (the second largest logistics provider in
China). Its completed facilities are also leasing well, signing 136,000
sqm of space in January 2011, above its 103,000 sqm monthly average in
9M FY11. We believe GLP remains attractive as it embarks on a growth
trajectory in China...

Consolidation at $2. Refuse to close on the red. For the first time since IPO, consecutive sessions w/o red. its either green or neutral. Uptrend is intact. It is reported that GLP is traders' fav short target, it can also become fav long target. Since it is reported in the news, traders wun maintain the same strategy. Its shaking off the punters with its swing recently. GE coming, GLP will be in focus. Buy with care.
Ok lah, listen to u... will continue to vest unless it break $2/= again.
