I understand that tomorrow the financial result will released and
possibly an positive impact on its trend. How about the Budget 07 on
15Feb? Do you guy reckon that it will push the trend further with corporate tax incentive being confirmed? Pls share your thought.
bunbun, I'm already looking beyond tomorrow results. Tomorrow results will more or less be there and there shouldn't be any surprises. Looking at FY07, I'm very sure that the Best is Yet to Come for BW and I'm very sure that many analysts will rush to upgrade BW soon. There are many factors that will drive BW profit to another high in 07..to name a few.....
1. Rapid growth in the Hong Kong and Taiwan markets..
2. Full year contributions from the ionizer range of products...and Q10 Mask (which I believe is fast becoming another star product)
3. The penetration of the Halal markets with its existing strong networks in MY, SGP and IND.
4. Starting business in China and may be Australia.
5. Towards the end of FY07, there may be possible M&A activities in Japan or Korea....
As mentioned earlier...profit taking already ended...the next uptrend wave has just started!!

Nokita, thanks for highlighting my post. Well, I am a long term investor. As long as the stock is performing and gives decent dividend, I do not see any reason to sell, unless there is a fundamental change in the company. I have bought this baby around 20c to 30c and have been holidng it since then....

my opinion is that, if u need the cash, u can sell for a decent profit anytime now.
but if u can hold for a long time, this stock could be very rewarding - one of the most rewarding I know of.
A compelling reason for that has been articulated by bullrun4ever, who must have been thinking of Best World when he/she chose his/her nick (bullrun4ever)!

Yes, fully agree with you that the expansive network is a very valuable asset which does not show up in Balance Sheet! And with good product branding and excellent management in place, this network is set to grow rapidly! And with the network growing, my pocket also growing...hehe.

I enjoyed the feeling that when I wake up every morning, I know that there are 100,000 distirbutors out there trying to sell or consume BW's products! This numbers is set to grow very rapidly! The best thing is that you only pay them when they bring in profit for your company!! Many people just value BW based on its product branding and profit generated...they miss out the networks that BW has built up...to me that is one of the most important asset of the company! If one take that into consideration..then they will find the BW is still way way undervalued and the best is yet to come!

A recent report on the state of Chinese's women's lives in 2006 shows body beautification products are tops on their shopping lists.
The report says spending on clothes, hairdressing, body beautification and fitness costed 3,618 yuan, or about US$465 per person on average last year. The survey was carried in 20 Chinese cities. Two-thirds of interviewees said they had credit cards and 37 percent that they use credit cards when shopping.
Nearly 88 percent of interviewees say that they spend an average of 26 hours on the Internet every week. In addition to shopping at large department stores, nearly one-fifth of respondents say they also shop online.
Top brands are still the favorite of those female consumers, with 96 percent saying that they bought famous brand products last year. The average expenditure on branded products is 3,560 yuan, or about US$457.
