cant belief it ! i heard Lim & Tan brokerage the trading platform is down again this morning 27-Jan 9.15am !! haha....wat a joke... :P
Recently there has been a spate of incidents at banks.
was there any misconduct in these incidents.
lots of damage to their clients and market in such a possible big up day but probably muted due to reduce volume at the beginning of trading day.
the big difference is short could get out cheaper and possible turn bull in that morning of uncertainty.
blessing in disguise? nah...more like squeezing their ballz twice! as they can sell on this morning high...then buy at low and then sell high again later of the day :P

====================================SINGAPORE: OCBC customers were
unable to carry out stock trading services at the bank's online platform, iOCBC
on Thursday morning.
A notice on iOCBC's website said it's unable to
process orders due to " unforeseen circumstances" .
OCBC Securities said it
is in the midst of rectifying the issues and apologises to customers for any
inconvenience caused.
It's understood that the website was down since
8.55 am due to a power failure.
As a result, the iOCBC platform was
unable to connect to Singapore Exchange for traders to execute their
orders.
In a statement, OCBC said it is experiencing a technical problem
with its securities trading system as a result of a power outage at the hosting
facility.
Ms Koh Ching Ching, head of OCBC's Group Corporate
Communications said this has impacted connection to the Singapore
Exchange.
As such, customers are not able to carry out trading activities
through OCBC's website nor conduct " buy" transactions through their brokers.
However, customers can still perform " sell" transactions through their
brokers.
Ms Koh said the bank is currently working on restoring full
services as soon as possible, and will provide updates as and when
available.
Customers of Lim & Tan Securities also reported that the
firm's online trading website is down due to " technical difficulties" .
