let me share alittle on wat longies should be doing in case there is a super bull on Monday:

Contra is my pattern in bull mkt cos i dont like to take out money tat is in my pocket.

Asian mkt open, super bull?

if yes....Sg mkt open, super bull, u see ur choice counters (usually only 1 or 2 stocks, pick them now do ur TA lor), chiong > > 5% forget it,

if not enter let say 50lots, then mkt usually carry on chiong becos Asian mkt open gradually.....

mkt taper....let go of 25lots if in profit...wait for Europe mkt open, super bull?

yes hold till end of the day....for me i am out.

i am just conservative in longing mkt so u may be difference but the key is let go some to cover first then hold the rest for more profit.

end of June one more chance to LONG.

Furthermore property nowadays is too expensive ...... It would be crazy for one to buy and think that they gonna make a good return nowadays .... Cooling measures and loan will kill u first :) ........ 300-400k for a flat which is so many times of a average earning ..... You are basically working your entire life on basic needs ..... No way u can really live ur life ..... If u know what I mean ......

Some time good projection is bad. When the company annonces its result and don't meet the so called 'expected' result, its stock price gets hammered. The bank analyst just project a company growth without any solid evidents .... remember, they don't run the company. Company management does !!

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) said it expects a 29 percent return from the Standard & Poor's GSCI Enhanced Commodity Index over the next 12 months, with the biggest gains in energy and base metals.

Policymakers in Europe will be able to contain the continent's debt crisis, while recovery in the U.S. and China is set to continue, Jeffrey Currie, head of commodities research in New York, said today in a report. Returns on energy investments may be 41 percent in 12 months, compared with 23 percent in base metals and 18 percent in precious metals, while agriculture is forecast to lose 14 percent in the period, according to the report.

" Although the macroeconomic backdrop still remains uncertain, particularly in Europe, we believe that the sell-off in commodity prices is likely overdone and the price risks are shifting more to the upside," Currie wrote.

Commodities, as measured by the S& P GSCI Enhanced Commodity Index, dropped 13 percent in May and are down 9.1 percent since the start of the year, paced by coffee, natural gas, cotton and crude oil, amid concerns over contagion from the European sovereign debt crisis and slowing global growth.

Goldman lowered its three-month price forecast for copper to $8,000 a metric ton from $9,000 a ton and aluminum to $2,200 a ton from $2,400 a ton, according to a separate report today.

Another comment my personal view --- Right now is not wise to buy any property but invest in stocks....... But ur call must be right ....... Short or long ........ The movement of next week is gonna be a thrill ride ..... For traders ...... We love epic events and this is one of the best ....... Countries don't get kick out or bankrupt everyday ...... It's quite rare ..... Grab this opportunity wisely ..... But limit urself .....
An avg apartment is almost 10-15 times an average (30k per year) singaporean earnings is consider way too high ...... I consider Singapore property at its peak right now ........ Stay out of property market ..... More supply is coming out ...... Don't rush .......Be smart and be responsible .......

I am surprise to see so call season traders still trading base on news and TA..... You should by now know that news is lagging and BS..... Using purely TA can spot the action of insider trading..... Not many can understand this.... I think only those who survive long in the markets will understand this.... lol
