BEIJING: At least 26 villagers have died from cadmium poisoning and hundreds more fallen ill since 2009 near a disused factory in central China, local media said Wednesday, underscoring the country's mounting pollution challenge.

Soil samples from Shuangqiao in Hunan province contained 300 times authorised cadmium levels and excess amounts were found in 500 of 3,000 villagers tested by health authorities, the China Youth Daily said.

26 people had died as a result of cadmium exposure in the last four years, eight of them under 60 and 20 of them from cancer, while children in the village were born with deformities.

Soilbuild Grp Holdings, REIT is offering 586.5 mil units at a price range of $0.77-S$0.80 per unit, which translates to forecast dividend yields of 7.3-7.6% for 2013 and 7.5-7.8% for 2014.

Institutional tranche - 499 mil units & public offer - 87.5 mil units. There is an overallotment option of 56.3 mil units, or 9.6% of the total offer. There is no cornerstone tranche.

Bookbuilding will be conducted from July 31 to Aug 6 & listing targeted for Aug 16, according to IFR, a Thomson Reuters publication.

Citigroup, DBS and OCBC are the joint global co-ordinators. Religare Capital and UOB are co-mgrs.

Maxi-Cash as compare with MoneyMax, both offer @0.30c

Maxi-Cash's public tranche of 2.25m shares was 88.5x subscribed.

It IPO price went up by 30% + on its 1st trading day.

A year after, share price has hover at about 0.46c and mkt cap now stands at $200m.

Maxi-Cash is currently trading at a multiple of 43x! For FY2012.

Will red hot MoneyMax offers better kopi $ relatively when it start trading...?.

Enlarged Share Cap: 353,800,000. PER FY12: 18.2x (fully diluted) . Market Cap: S$106.14mil

MoneyMax has similar business model as Maxi-Cash, with pawnbroking and jewelry retailing. It's a local company looking to raise funds through IPO to expand it's business.

At IPO price of 30c, the fully diluted P/E is 18.2 times, as comparison,to Maxi-Cash is currently trading@40x P/E.

Soilbuild to raise up to S$643m in industrial REIT IPO

SINGAPORE: Developer Soilbuild Group Holdings is looking to raise as much as S$643 mil in an initial public offering (IPO) of its industrial and business properties.

Soilbuild Business Space REIT (Soilbuild REIT) will be offering 586.5 mil units at an indicative price range of 77 cents to 80 cents per unit, according to a preliminary prospectus filed with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

Placement tranche 499 mil units will go to investors and institutions, while offered to the public 87.5 mil units.

Soilbuild's co-founder Lim Chap Huat has also offered to buy an additional 216.9 million units.

According to the prospectus, the trust expects to offer dividend yields of between 7.5% and 7.8% based on its 2014 projections.

REIT's initial portfolio will comprise 7 business space properties, including two business park developments and five industrial properties.

Soilbuild Group's construction arm Soilbuild Construction Group is listed on the SGX Mainboard.

Your entitlement to right shares is based on (1 to 1) at 0.015c

Your entitlement to warrant is also based on (1 to 1)...the catch here is the strike price at 0.03c

So if it mother shares trading (assuming) at 0.52c. players still stand to gain on short term play.

(0.03c -0.052c, need to top up 0.022c before players can convert - if it's wrong pls correct me)

You will be entitled to 20,000 rights (with free warrant)

To subscrible, which means take up the 20,000 rights share with 20,000 free warrant .. ( you need to pay $300.00 to subscribe)

Options:

You can sell your entitlement - will be quoted soon

ignore it and let it laspe ( which is silly)

sell your entitlement after you subscribe. sell shares and sell the warrants..

sell your current shares now at .052 and use the money to subscribe the entitlement. ( maybe a choice if you are cash tight)

the shares prices will not shoot back to 10cents in the short time unless BB push it up to 10cents .

Just to check.. i have 20,000 lots bought at 0.106.

Understand due to this rights issue, I will be entitled to subscribe 20 000 rights ($0.015) + 20 000 warrants ($0.03) based on my current share of 20 000 lots. I will need to cough out S$1500 to buy these two.

A few questions:

1) Can I don't subscribe to any rights and warrants and stay put with my 20 000 lots. How to see if i will be making a loss or profit based on the current price listed at S$0.052?

2) Will the share price rebounce back after today? or have to wait for any annoucement.

Sorry, newbie here. Appreciate any views and helps on this.

Yes. You can don't subscribe assuming is 20 lots (or 20,000 share), your entitlment is one to one.

Subscrption is based on the fine details offer by WE holdings, there's a date to entitle for subscribing which is last Friday.

Is best to get it done and to ask your Remiser or borker.
