guess only way it's going up now is if some bigfish think it's low enough, small fries like us too scared to go in now. i think they'll eventually come back in since (i think) it's got a potential for good dividend and reputation under temasek. i think they're waiting for a low enough price. | ||||

DPU alone is insufficient to justify whether MIT is a good buy as compared to the other REITS.. Annualised DPU as a percentage of current price is a more effective gauge... That is why I mentioned abt % yield instead of DPU.. U can buy a counter at $10 which gives $0.50 DPU every year (i.e. 5%) VS a counter at $0.10 which gives $0.010 every year (i.e. 10%).. Which one is better ?? As I said, if you strongly believe MIT is undervalued as compared to the rest of the REITS, go ahead and buy..

they sell away the shares that they are not holding... so in order to cover the share . they will buy back from the market . when they is more buyer the price goes up... | ||||

Analyst reports based on charts ought to be taken with some doubts as analysts themselves don't agree. In a upmarket when prices have been going up, analysts based on charts will continue to see continuing price uptrend. But every projectile will also come down. Good to take a contrarian view when market has been going up too long.
