Likely to see a clear picture of the price which is in uptrend when the right issues fully settled down in one month's time. If you have spare cash, don't bother to take some risks by accumulate it a bit. Strong support level @ 0.635. I guess this is a good entry point. Right issues & rising cost of construction for the IR already factor in price which make this counter more affordable compare to last few weeks.

From the chart, it seems like Genting Int'l try to build it support line @ 0.635 even though recently hit all time low @ 0.615 because of sub-prime woe.

If you don't take up their offers of 3 to 5 issue rights, your genting shares will be diluted as more scripts are coming to the market.

Genting International said it planned to issue rights to three shares for every five existing shares.

The company plans to use the proceeds, expected to be between S$2.0 billion and S$2.3 billion, to fund the development of the casino-resort and repay part of its debt, including a bridging loan of 297 million pounds.

"The estimated full cost of developing the integrated resort, which amounts to approximately S$5.2 billion, will have to be funded by the group," Genting International said in a statement to the Singapore Exchange.

"The composition of funding the development of the integrated resort has not been finalised, but the company expects the financing to comprise a combination of equity, debt and non-recourse project financing," it added.

as there is more shares and profit remain the same or move up ,i believe shares price will

move down as we have wait until spore casino-resort open.up for profit to come in

2 to 3 years after the opening and there also sands casino chasing for same profits and

customers .,genting have been push up just for these rights so that lim and co can raise more $$$.

we can see that coming for past months.

please advise if i am correct.
