U.S. stocks tumbled on Tuesday with both the S&P and

Nesdaq settling at their lowest level in 2010 as downbeat

economic news made investors worry that the global economic

rebound was weakening. The Dow Jones Industrial average ended

268.22 points lower to 9,908.92 after once tumbling more than 300

points during the session.

The S&P 500 index plummeted 33.33 points or 3.10% to 1,041.24

and the Nasdaq slumped 85.47 points or 3.85% to 2,135.18.

Both indexes were at their lowest closing levels for the year.

Asian & European markets were broadly down with the Shanghai

Composite falling more than 4% to the LOWEST LEVEL IN

14 MONTHS, after the Conference Board a New York-based

research group revised its leading economic index for China

to show the smallest gain in five months in April.

STI down abt 20 points, maybe more later.

last right issue. If the share price is low, nobody

will take up the rights. How smart. It is legal to

push up the share price before the right issue?

Perhaps the SGX can enlighten us, lol.

Fundamentally,the co. remain the same. So far,

no news that warrant the share price to shoot up.

Manipulation is the term used. What have SGX

got to say about the surge in the prices??????

A lot of traders already cash out, locked their profits and wait at sideline. Not much small traders in the market. May be that's why the BBs keep the price high to lure some new birds for buying their shares in reducing the risks of potential downtrend and correction.

Possible! Not many people dare to buy at this present moment. Let BBs play among themselves and push up price and then, we sell back to them. hahaha!

But i know of some new singaporeans (PRs and now singaporeans) quite aggressive in trading stock market and casino. Those hiong hiong buy and sell type.
