Basically, nothing wrong with Midas, it is down just bccos of mkt corrections, believe in the strong FA, if have holding power, will one day break 89 n go even higher unless whole mkt crash.

To me, it is more of a fire-sale, I m buying more again n prepared to exit if later I spot any reversal sign.

Dr Tony Tan is very smart and incredible good foresight.

Remember what he say in 2007 crisis is coming but some didnt believed him. This morning Tony Tan say on Newspaper that the worst is over.... somemore National Day celebration... I donno market like that how to celebrate national day over weekend ? Me as a singaporean no mood liao. Loose money how to celebrate.

Today, Most of us celebrate National Day. Tony Tan even say the worst is past and yet why Market today didnt rally and fall instead ?

Results should be quite good as my wife's uncle "from hong kong" who owns a small factory in china say the worst period was during the first quarter. Many orders have return in 2nd quarters, and because of that they are relief "revenue grow".

Midas results as everyone expected is good but the key question is how good.

I really feel that i am terribly stupid i throw out midas @ 0.84 ..... today might go in again T.T

I really hope it will cheong for u guys even though i sold my shares off already. But becareful these guys are controlling it. When they change their mind to test 0.82 ..... we never know

I too was stupid once, many years ago, but now wiser after realising trading needs hardwork, trading on guts-feel, n listening to MFTS will be our doom.

I always say: "Master TA n u are the master of your trades", n "Learn how to fish n u can fend for yourself forever but relying on others n u will always be at the mercy of others"

Frankly, IMHO, u should not be unduly worried, given the strong FA and streams of contracts being awarded n more to come, but as usual dyodd and SOBAYOR(Sell Or Buy At Your Own Risk), just ignore the short term fluctuations.

In time to come, it will definitely be more than 86, tats for sure, imo.

The directors did not sell it, it just loan it out for new share placement. Once new share placement has been completed the shares are transferred back to the directors.

Ok look at this example.

Midas has 1000 million shares. They decided to issue new 120 million shares to private placement. In order to have a speedy & cost effective placement Midas director loan out 120 million shares to its fund manager. Private investor are contacted and happy to purchase all the 120 million shares @ a discount. Initial offer is 100 million shares but due to the overwhelming interest from investors they throw in another 20 million share.

Therefore after the new placement of shares the company total shares is 1120 million shares and 120 million shares are return to the directors that previous loan out the shares.

Why they do this ?

1) Fast & cost-effective as it reduce alot of admin cost.

2) They have to expand to meet its book order.

Midas can be easily in the range of $1.2 - $1.6 by early next year. FY10 book order are expected to raise many times.
