You are right. Liquidity will be bad. However, it may not be as bad as last time. Coz there are more hedge funds operating in singapore. Morever, there are shorting instruments such as CFD, Put Warrants, ES and SBL which adds to the volatility and liquidity in the market. Hedge funds and fund managers have to move the market. You don't just pay a 5 digit salary to someone to sit down and shake legs. Hence there will still be movement, but with reduced trading volume. |

Seriously think abt this, now ppl are worried abt their jobs, do you think many ppl have the $ to buy stocks for speculation? so do u think rally will be soon? recession is just here my friend. think! use the brain more! even u have deep pocket, whats the point when others have no money in their pocket to play with u on the market. u play urself alone, do u think price will go up? with the banks tightening their loan, even the BBs cant get loan to speculate, what more do u think for normal ppl? This recession is not as simple as the 2001 or the 2003 or even 1997. now the whole world credit market is not thawed yet. those who wanna bottom fish pls beware that the bottom may be way to go depper than thought. i dun think rally will resume so fast. |
