Right man! This counter saves me, albeit dropped a bit. Not as bad as my China stocks. Will pick some soon. Not fantastic capital gains but can sleep better. Long run with div, it is a good counter. Eyeing for more lots when it drops further. I think about bottom.

Most stock pay dividend once a year in singapore. Some pay twice a year. Singpost pay every quarter. But dun expect big dividend from singapore stocks in the coming years as the tax credit is over. If u understand what i am trying to say |

jackjames is right about SPH, solid company with good dividends, the company give dividends twice a year....

You may want to go to sgx websites to look at the companys. Different companys gave out dividends differently, some once a year, some 2 times a year, some 4 times a year and some even don't give out dividends at all....

buy SPH... dividend twice a year, coming 19 cents in december, yield about 5.4%. 2003 support point 3.20.. now 3.50. i think good bargain. can keep for long. somemore, dividend can help a lot this time with reduced purchase price. keep for long! |
