Hi Sporegal and Elfin, Just study the accumulation/distribution chart below the price chart. The counters (begin with letter S) that look good are Santeh, See HS, SGX, Singtel (singtel10 looks bad, singtel 100 not too good), SMRT& ST Engg. SGX seems the strongest. What is yr view from TA pt ? What about FA pt ? What about sentiment pt of the market ? |

In low volume markets like the current situation, market manipulation or cornering will be common. To prevent ourselves from being taken for a ride, we should try to avoid illiquid counters. Especially those which are penny stocks. However, this is not to say that such counters have good fundamentals. The opinion above is only from a TA perspective.

The concerns faced by many regulators is market-manipulation. Investors and traders live and die by information and are constantly talking and communicating to one another. I suppose nobody can stop anybody from starting or spreading rumors. It is illegal, however, to knowingly spread false information with the intention of profiting from its dissemination; for example, by shorting a stock and saying the company is in danger of collapse. And this profits are done at the expenses of others which should not be encouraged. Just my thots. |

I thought the cross should be given to the companies that keep sinking in the red... :-P Markets never fail to punish underperforming stocks.

Yes, agreed. Any factual information or announcement related to companies traded will be useful for all to assess and make informed investment decision. SGX could have disclose it for the same reason. Do keep on sharing ! But rumors are not welcome. :) |

Thanks for your comment, at least someone like you appreciate ! It is ok lah, maybe some not happy that their holding stock is being blacklisted lor. What can we do ? Ususally good and sincere is being misunderstood ! Saw Chow Yuen Fatt's re-telecast "The Killer", he says in the show : "好人通常被人吴解!" Anyway, good luck !!! |

Dunno why knightrider got a bad post. I think this post was helpful. From a TA perspective, counters to avoid are those that are penny stocks with low trading volumes. |

Hi Everyone, The Zaobao has announced that SGX disclosed the Watch-List for this stocks :- ASA Group---0.05c Chuan Soon Huat-----0.015c Eastgate Technology---0.035c Fastech Synergy---0.02c General Magnetics---0.14c Ionics EMS---0.025c ChinaSing Investment---0.02c Rotol Singapore---0.06c Stratech Systems---0.04c TRI-M---0.94c United Communications---0.07c (All prices is based on last trading day last week) All these companies, either low in trading activities or losing money or just struggle to make small profit, thus is under the new ruling of watch-list for the next 24 months ! FYI. |
