Who to blame? Nobody forces a decision to buy/sell on you, you take action based on what you read in the forum and how it makes sense to you. Do your homework, take a little bit of time to action. Make a wrong decison, come back wiser, pointing finger won't make you feel better.

stupid ass .."idea."..don't quote out of context...when happyday recommended buy for sinostar it was on 2nd day of listing of ipo at about 57cts and then within a week it shot to >70cts and I joined him like those who followed and went in and made $$$ all the way...when sinostar was trading >90cts we received info that its TP was $1.20 and we loaded again but after hovering for > 2 weeks sinostar dropped <90cts that's where we cut since we buy on margins...as 'idea' was caught and being greedy U failed to cut loss and hence trying to find fault with everybody.

Can't find a word to describe idea but just stupid moron is apt indeed.

Pump and Dump Schemes

"Pump and dump" schemes, also known as "hype and dump manipulation," involve the touting of a company's stock (typically microcap companies) through false and misleading statements to the marketplace. After pumping the stock, fraudsters make huge profits by selling their cheap stock into the market.

Pump and dump schemes often occur on the Internet where it is common to see messages posted that urge readers to buy a stock quickly or to sell before the price goes down, or a telemarketer will call using the same sort of pitch. Often the promoters will claim to have "inside" information about an impending development or to use an "infallible" combination of economic and stock market data to pick stocks. In reality, they may be company insiders or paid promoters who stand to gain by selling their shares after the stock price is "pumped" up by the buying frenzy they create. Once these fraudsters "dump" their shares and stop hyping the stock, the price typically falls, and investors lose their money.
