New Forum Feature - Quote This Post! Post Reply Rate topic

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I've thought of it. That's why you can only quote whole paragraphs and not edit them. Forummers are urged to break down into paragraphs of a few sentences and not a long one. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	both Seniors have valid points : ) just thought add my 2 cents worth ... i think forummers should also use this feature discerningly/ judiciously ... just because the feature is there no need to click on it ...it maybe ok to test this feature once or twice to try out the novelty ... but to keep on clicking on it habitually on even mundane/trivial matters makes it look 'ugly' ... perhaps a simple line to say ,say, yes , or agree/disagree etc .. will be more than sufficient instead of quoting the entire message ... :  )

x 1   x 0  Alert Admin	Thanks admin. The present system is good for short posts. However, what about long posts? I have a few suggestions. Hope you'll consider them. For example, a post has 5 paragraphs. I wish to quote paragraphs 2 and 4. The system should prompt me to enter the paragraphs I wish to quote. After I've done so, I can then enter my post. My post will then look like this: Text of my post.  :  :  Paragraph 2 text  :  :  Paragraph 4 text  :  :
