Hopefully the trade of $50 for $10mil works out. :-P Just for info, each set of 6 numbers has a roughly 1 in 8.14 million chance (45 choose 6 or 45C6 using scientific calculator) of winning.

For those who have yet to place a bet, here are some lucky numbers that might up your chances of striking it rich. According to local Chinese daily Shin Min Daily News, an expert consulted by the newspaper said that numbers with the digits '3' and '9' are more likely to emerge as the winning numbers in the lottery draw. Cultural studies expert Chang Jue told the newspaper that betters can make themselves a lucky charm by wrapping a piece of yellow cloth around a $1 coin. Punters can also place their betting slips and name cards together with the charm in a south-eastern spot in their home. The direction is considered lucky this year. According to research done by Shin Min, the numbers that has emerged most often in winning draws is 17. It was a winning number in 193 draws over the past few years.
