Now Europe has a more concrete plan. US will announce soon. It is important to understand such effort has impact on the financial system. Germany, France, Italy are largely bank-based financial systems while US and UK are market-based systems. The action has varying degree of successful as one needs to understand the relative importance of such financial system. |

Thank goodness. It will probably be a quiet day tomorrow for Asia. Not too sure about Europe though because the problems there now seem to have a life of their own, even though it started in the US. |
