Heard the Aussies and Kiwis celebrate theirs on 1st Sunday of September. (Onesharer, i think singapore father too practical to want their children to do the 10 steps. Then when they see their children pampering their mother on mum's day, they complain fathers are less appreciated. Dads here are asking for it, isn't it. So, train children early to do the 10 steps without regrets.) |

Just discover from the Web that Taiwan celebrates Mothers' Day on the 1st Sunday of May while Spore follows USA do it on 2nd Sunday of May. From Wilkepedia, China celebrates Mums' day on 2nd day of the 4th Lunar month (not sure how accurate is the entry in the Wilkepedia). | ||

Checked out Sporeguy's comment, and according to Wilipedia, there's some truth to it. China celebrates Father's Day w/ us; whereas, Taiwan does so on 8 Aug. Mmmm...that means a father could "officially" celebrate Father's Day a few times per yr just by travelling to different places w/ his family -- cool! 178investors: Is this how you celebrate it here? Sounds good to me. But I wonder whatz in the gift cos it can be so difficult to shop for men than for women. |

Is this how they celebrate it in China? Step 11
Wish your father "Happy Father’s Day" as soon as he wakes up in the morning. Step 22 Offer him a fresh bouquet of flowers.
Step 33 Give him a gift that he would really appreciate along with a card having an emotional message. Get him something that he was planning to buy.
Step 44 Prepare his favorite breakfast. You can make local food, like bings (pancakes), tang (soup) or mian (noodles), if he likes. Serve it hot. Share it with him for more enjoyment.
Step 55 Plan an outing. Decide on a place that is away from the everyday crowd. Visit places like "Guilin" or "Huangshan" if he's interested.
Step 66 Cook lunch in the open space, if possible. Serve barbecued pork, stir-fried baby bok choy or steamed whole fish, depending on his choice.
Step 77 Have lunch together. Make the atmosphere joyous by sharing some funny jokes.
Step 88 Click pictures to make the day memorable.
Step 99 Play some family games. Spend Father’s Day with the entire family together.
Step 1010 Select a family restaurant for dinner. Let your father decide the menu.
