From 11 March 2013, SGX will require the marking of
sell orders on its securities markets to further enhance transparency of
market activities. SGX will publish daily reports on the total value
and volume of short sales for each counter the next trading day, based
on short sale data collected on the previous trading day. Please also
refer to the Guidelines on Short Selling Disclosure issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on 9 January 2013.

Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Holdings- 4Q12: Shipbuilding margin holding up. YZJ is still our preferred Chinese shipyard given its excellent management. (YZJ SP/BUY/S$0.99/Target: S$1.45) FY13F PE (x): 7.4 FY14F PE (x): 8.2 Above our expectation. Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (YZJ) reported net profit of Rmb808m (-22% yoy) and Rmb3,580m (-10% yoy) for 4Q12 and 2012 respectively. 2012 net profit was 7% above our forecast of Rmb3,345m. YZJ declared a final DPS of 5.0 S cents/share, marginally lower than 2011’s final DPS of 5.5 S cents/share. Maintain BUY. The downturn in newbuild ship orders, amid a poor shipping market, has bottomed out. We may see containership orders picking up first, possibly in 2H13, which should benefit YZJ. Our target price of S$1.45 is based on 1.8x P/B. YZJ’s current NAV stands at Rmb4.048m, or S$0.808/share. YZJ’s P/B mean since 2005 is 2.9x.
