$1.40 dividend . Not bad. FINAL DIVIDEND OF 40 CENTS The Board of Directors recommends a final dividend of 40 cents per share (tax exempt, one-tier) to be paid on 18 August 2011 to shareholders as at 04 August 2011. SPECIAL DIVIDEND OF 80 CENTS After considering the financial performance and long-term capital adequacy of the Company, the Board is recommending a special dividend of 80 cents per share (tax exempt, one-tier). The proposed distribution will be paid on 18 August 2011 to shareholders as at 04 August 2011. Including the interim dividend of 20 cents per share paid on 08 December 2010 and the proposed final dividend of 40 cents per share to be paid on 18 August 2011, the total dividend for the 2010-11 financial year will be $1.40 per share.

Fourth Quarter 2010-11 Group revenue at $3,587 million improved by 8% (+$251 million) compared to the corresponding period last financial year, supported by the continued recovery in yields. However, this was outpaced by increase in Group expenditure of 11% (+$326 million), mainly from higher fuel cost (+$300 million) as jet fuel prices spiked 34% year-on-year. This was partially offset by hedging gains of $38 million (against hedging losses of $19 million). As a result, Group operating profit for the quarter fell $75 million (-31%) from the same quarter last financial year to $166 million. any comment on the SIA finance report . Q4 2010 vs Q4 2009 is lower due to high fuel price . 40cent only dividend only . In the past they give 80c on the same period . |

Most likely will clear one lah.My heart sank when i bought today total 23 lots average at 14.52 and then the price dropped to 14.18 then bounced back and closed at 14.26.Damn lucky man.Dont think will buy all over,will sell some to go for short holiday in june | ||||

Wow,That means 1 lot =$1200 dividend?Plus the $0.20 dividend payout earlier,that means year2010/2011 = $1400 per lot? I love you SIA! So Happy,not so confuse,not so scary after all.
