If a stock newbie happens to own that superb house below (eg. via lottery)...

He can easily lose that very house by being too confident of himself... Smiley

The best advice I can give to all genuine newbies is still this...

"Don't play with stocks"...

Even if you are very confident of yourself...

hehehe... Smiley

March News

Capitaland says analysts wrong on China bubble as it raises stakes to $20 billion PROPERTY | Capitaland says analysts wrong on China bubble as it raises stakes to $20 billion As the world worries about a bubble in China's property market, Capitaland will tell investors today that "China's case is different from other property bubbles," that there is no bubble in China, and that it has raised China assets from 28 % to 36 % of its book as it goes all in a massive $20 billion contrarian bet.

Best News always come at the peak, like this one.

(this news made CPL's climax in January; STI hit new high in April but CPL did not.  What is the future like?)

SINGAPORE—CapitaLand Ltd.'s US$2.2 billion purchase of Orient Overseas (International) Ltd.'s China property business gives the Singapore property developer a boost in its drive to widen its residential footprint in China.

The deal comes amid lingering uncertainties about China's property market, including fears that speculative activity is too hot and that governmental tightening measures will crimp growth.

But many analysts see substantial longer-term benefits from this transaction. "The market has been thirsty for this acquisition and their patience has paid off," UBS property analyst Regina Lim said. UBS has a buy recommendation on CapitaLand's stock.

My own favourite method is to catch multi-baggers ...

Which are about to sky-rocket ...

It is the most satisying way to play stocks...

Rather than wasting time with all the wriggly patterns...

hehehe... Smiley

Each of them have their own favourite methods...

And they can even show you with with live demo how they trade with their methods...

Once you learn it, it stays with you all your life...

And best of all, it will be impossible to go "pok!" soon...  Smiley

Or you can take any of the coaching advertised in the newspapers...

There are many good coaches out there too...

They charge a few k's, but it's all good value for money...

Just go through the English newspapers everyday and you will find them... Smiley

For $3,000, they get personal tuition for one hour a session... Smiley
