As I said in the few of the forum's topics earlier, next week is going to be quiet. If tomorrow morning SGX goes up until it stable then short it quickly later on, but at your own risk. I reiterate again that City Group regraded SGX from 11.22 to 6.45 last week. Ang Mo sensitives to figures, esp Asian's stocks.

SingTel price, 3.78 now is a bit high, no point to buy it to earn the unknown dividend its going to announcement on 5 Feb 08. However, I still can keep my 10 lots of ST for div as I bought them at 3.68 last Mon.

BTW, still can remember MM Lee visited Arab's countries lately. He advised the oil rich royal families and business men that they may buy in blue chips in the economy stabalised country, Spore is one of them, he he. Look out, don't focus on Ang Mo leow.

Hi yes888,

From  the TA charts, I think this counter still looks kinda bearish. Also, with the holidays next week, it will be a slow week for SGX with low volume of transactions.

My prediction for this counter is side way movement. Little ups and downs.

Hi Singaporegal,

From TA and charting, are we able to tell what is the trend going to be like for next week?

Will the ang mo give us a big big ang bao? Smiley

Hi winsontkl,

I'll post comments on DBS and UOB's respective threads instead of this SGX one.

Hi Singaporegal,

No doubt the market is weak, but was tempted to go in thinking that there is bargain on the table. Thank my lucky star I read your comments and pull back, if not, will definitely "shu sie" die die...

What's your take on financial stock like DBS and UOB??? Cheap??? Technical advise appreciated....

Cheers.

Hi winsontkl,

In market conditions like these, most stocks will be in a downtrend mode anyway. Like what tanglinboy says, a weak market creates a weak SGX.

likely to gap down on opening with an intraday high-low range of ~90c, final close = lower than opening px. approx 20c lower is my guess.

only for tmrw. caveat emptor as usual.

If most counters are down tomorrow, this counter will follow. Hence, if your have performed a TA, please believe 50% of it. The other 50% would be due to external force.
