    ·                 We visited associate company Nanjing Puzhen (NPRT) and met with
       management for an update

    ·                 NPRT buzzing with activity, with order book in excess of RMB6bn and
       gunning for more

    ·                 Midas’ core business expansion is on track, with order book >
       RMB1.4bn underpinning visibility

    ·                 Maintain BUY, TP S$1.21 (20x FY10/11 PER).

NPRT was buzzing with activity when we visited, and was in the midst of
production to meet deliveries for several projects. Over the last year,
NPRT has won nearly RMB5bn worth of metro projects, with RMB3.9bn of
revenue that will accrue to it directly. NPRT currently has an order book
of around RMB6bn-7bn, to be delivered over the next few years. Also, NPRT
is bidding for more contracts; potential upcoming projects that NPRT could
be bidding for include Wuxi, Haerbin, Wuhan and Zhengzhou.

Core business expanding to meet growing orders. Meanwhile, Midas’ 3rd
aluminium extrusion line has been running since April, with the 4th slated
to enter into commercial production in 4Q10 and the 5th by 1Q11 which will
raise the Group’s annual production capacity to at least 50,000 tonnes per
annum from 20,000 tonnes in 2009. When fully installed, its three
downstream fabrication lines could boost annual revenue by another
RMB300m-400m. Currently, we estimate Midas’ order book to be around
RMB1.4bn-1.5bn, with potential for more orders at end 2010/early 2011 as
more rail-related contracts are handed out.

BUY, TP S$1.21. Driven by both core earnings and NPRT’s contribution,
Midas’ EPS is projected to grow at a CAGR of 27% from FY09-FY12F. We
maintain our BUY call on the stock with S$1.21 target price, based on 20x
FY10/11 earnings. HK-listed peers are trading at an average of 25x FY10
earnings and 19x FY11 earnings.

I love today's ending.

Looks like STI is preparing for a Big Jump.

I have a feeling that STI is going to Rally Big next week.

It does not matter if it's a Good Stock or Bad Stock, Blue Chips or Penny Stocks, Singapore Stocks or China Stocks, they are all going to Rally.

For those of you who brought this week... Next week can see many happy faces.

This is just my personal feeling, don't have to take it too seriously.

It would appear Murphy's law prevails in the US offshore drilling market. There has been another rig explosion in the US Gulf, except the disaster has not been as bad as the BP's Macondo oil spill. Negative sentiments are already casting uncertainty over global rig spending (excluding Brazil's Petrobras' rig programme) which now adopts a wait-and-see attitude. This indirectly affects the sentiments on the Singapore offshore & marine sector. We continue to prefer a bottom-up strategy in stock selections, preferably stocks that have a high visibility of project pipelines. Our top stock picks are Swiber (SWIB SP/BUY/Target: S$1.54), Ezion Holdings (EZI SP/BUY/Target: S$0.90) and Ezra Holdings (Ezra/BUY/Target: S$2.17). The latter's share price will be subdue in the short term in view of its recent rights issue proposal.
