Hi Alligator.. tat's my point.. 0.955 to 1.02 is simply too small and veri small safety of margin.. and wif pension callin good counter to vest now and 4weeks to shine abv $1. Tat's y i said 1.02. I could b wrong.. mayb it will rocket skyhigh.. but as far as i read tis counter in all perspectives... I cant c any single light within 4 weeks. Like I had said.. comin mid next yr, i reckon it will b de best time to relook at tis counter.. let's say early May 08. de target date of completion for their expansion (which de market/industry players noe) is around Jun 08. de planning for another expansion will kickoff prior current expansion completion. hello huatah, you are thinking 0.955 to 1.02, that sounds like a very small change and thus very low safety of margin. In my opinion, semiconductor business is just too competitive, too much capital investment, too much technological risk on product changes, obsoletion, etc. we can benefit a lot more on other counters, i think even a China ETF and India ETF is a better bet.Just wait for Current Pakistan situation , which affect india market to go down further, when more quite down, buy and keep for 6-9 month... haha, may be 20-25% good luck |

Dear All, though i really tink highly of wat CSM is currently doin.. wat they r doin to bring up their name once again.. and share px of course.. i share de same sentiment as Alligator had said. semi-con industry r veri competitive.. not really tat good to hold on for long term. One more thing, if u all have read others postings.. u will c how pathetic a scenario pension had painted for Jan 08. In almost all postings, including those he initiated .. it's negative sentiments. de oni counter tat he boosted abt is BanJoo and CSM.. (mayb got other lah.. i dun noe). Pension.. i m not against u.. but de way u tryin to get ppl in or get ppl out.. seems like u got caught in certain counters? let's put it tis way.. in my personally opinion.. 0.955 is a good catch.. and sell of should it hit 1.02. but i have yet to c any acc of tis counter.. and wat make u tink tat in 4 weeks time.. it will shoot beyond 1plus? Perhaps u should elaborate abit lah... Especially u had painted such a bad bad situation in Jan. how to vest like tat? |

hope chartered management learned a good lesson from ibm. market out there is very comptitive and there is no such thing call loyalty. chartered management must be aggressive to survive, they must break tmc and other chip manufacturers market rather than sitting down depending on few customers support. |

There are so many good stocks out there with good long term prospects exposed to huge investment themes. Why must it be Chartered? When the bull run started Chartered went from 60c to about $1.90. Now it back to near 98c.The bull run has lasted nearly 4 years? During these 4 years the good stocks are way up there. I don't see the point of buying a stock like Charterted at $1 and then sell at $1.10 or generously even at $1.20. |
