My friends called me juz now & told me dat he cnt celebrate CNY liao. Cos all monies kena stuck in e Mkt. Usually I'm trying 2 aviod such calls. U noe lor, nowaday alot of pple need monies 2 celebrate CNY. Even me too. They muz b thinking dat I'm a Bank...

For your info, this might be the reason :

CIMB raises Hong Leong Asia (H22.SG) target price to S$6.33 from S$3.98, based on sum-of-parts valuation, to reflect higher valuation multiples for units China Yuchai, Henan Xinfei; "with HLA's China businesses growing at a rapid pace, we believe that its Hong Kong and China-listed peers now provide a better benchmark for valuing HLA (than Singapore peers)." Notes HLA's 9M09 core net profit more than doubled vs entire FY08 profit due to higher contributions from Xinfei, Yuchai. Says Xinfei traditionally strong in rural China, which expected to drive bulk of growth in Chinese domestic demand going forward. Expects Yuchai's two new JVs in 2009 to help raise contributions to HLA by 60% by FY11. Adds HLA may give special dividend of S$0.71-S$3.16/share if it decides to sell its 90% stake in Xinfei or list unit. Keeps Outperform call.

I vested at 23c when TP 32 n thereafter down trend.. TP 32 may be they are talking about further future so I wait... n all the suddent placement share drop to 18.5c.... now heavy selling pressure press down to 19c from 19.5c... so what is the real story? pushing it down to collect or just junk stock ??!!

Someone mentioned in St Times that Obama's bank policy may benefit asian stock market. So expect today will not too bad. So contra for lunch as too many bad news may come from China's increase in interest rate and Obama's socialist traits as can be seen in his health care policy and coming bank policy.

haha just came back home :P From what I know. Obama is the caused of this sell off.

The Big Boys in US is showing its unhappyiness as obama passing down its legislation to control the big banks. 1 particular interesting is Obama is not happying with Banks owning Hedge Funds. Thats why the banks pull out funds in the market as they await for the coming thursday for Obama details on the bank legislation.

This week sell off is really quite expected and I expected it to ends on friday "yesterday". (thats why i say early in the week sell and then buy back in friday)

Monday Dow Jone shall recover some. Week ahead shall be quite volatile especially for banking related stocks. My friends are betting Big on Monday US futures UP.

Always remember "We are not in a double dip cycle".

10 Important Shares to watch

1) ChinaMilk (Buy @ 0.36 to 0.37)

2) SinoMem (Buy @ 0.57 - 0.58)

3) SeeHS (Buy @ 0.29 - 0.295)

4) Captialand (Buy @ 4.05 - 4.08)
