Well although your analysis is very good, the only catch is that whether all these options are cooked ways of hookwinking the shareholders, the question being only asked on hindsight, after no good things materialized as predicted.  Ask the directors where are the dividends? Forthcoming or wait long-longer?  Result of lack of foresight?  No..questionable unless we hear some good things to com.

Not vested but monitoring this monkey.

I did a bit of research on this counter and over their affairs in GSGL.  Now they have agreed to settle the control one way or another, and either way is beneficial for the shareholders and the company.

Option 1: Take management control of GSGL with shared responsibilites : Full control of a subsidiary is vital for the success of  operating the business according to company plans and the proper execution of projects that will bring in good profits from the existing infrastructure at GSGL. Half of a control is better than no control.

Option 2:  Give up control of GSGL and take over control of QS (Qinghai Province Salt Industry).  This is an ex-govt salt making company since 1950, and now a subsidiary of GSGL.  It has assets in 2 salt lakes, Keke Lake and Chake Lake both accounting for a total salt reserves of 1.5 billion tonnes.  Currently QS's production is distributed for domestic and industrial consumption.

Please by forewarned:  It is noted that whenever I talked about a counter, the share price will fall and has been doing so ever since I was on this forum.=========================

Hi Sarahlkh, the good news is that Firstlink has finally reached an agreement with the Chinese to settle the control of GSGL in one way or another which options are more beneficial to the shareholders than the status quo.

If a settlement is reached, then the auditors would be able to give shareholders a solid picture of the finances of the company and should it reflect the current book nta of 17 cents or above, then you will have a good profit from the price now at 10 cents.

In between, I think however, any bad news will not push the price any further down since it is quite a discount in the current "upbeat" market of STI above 3,000 points at 10 cents.

Of course if the BBs view the new development as a good sign, they will support the shares with shortists covering as well.

This is my own opinion only, and please read my above warning note.
