x 0 x 0	As far as I know this is a good stock, with the Board of Directors rewarding shareholders with the dividents, rights issue and bonus issues. Furthermore, it is one of the largest metal stockist in Singapore, hence with the property boom, more metal is needed, and acute shortage of metal in the world due to high demands in China, hence, profits should soar. Also they bought a plot of land in Johor to build a factory, guess expansion plans is in the way. Solid set of financials. Should head north to about S$0.54 at least, if I am not wrong, but do not know what is holding back given the above. Would be good to be able to receive some latest news like the Kim Eng research that w6m9hi mentioned as some of us do not have access to. If you were to check the forum, there is plenty of vested interests too, yet???

x 0 x 0	sanye2006, the last rights issue 2 for 5 already converted to ordinary shares??? Was there an announcement? If so could you please provide the linkage. I thought I am still holding on to the rights and waiting for the announcement. The 2 for 5 rights issue was at $0.20. Are we talking about the same thing? sohguanh, I am not in the rush to trade but just wanted to know if the rights are already converted. Thanks for the education. harryp,... welcome to the club. I am sure you will not regret loading up on this counter. All the fundamentals are there, just waiting to cheong. Hope I am right.

x 0 x 0	novicetrader: i tink for rights there should be a SGX announcement by the relevant stock. all u gotta do is wait for them to announce lor. since you paid up you are not contra or short so waiting should not be a problem correct? or u are in a hurry to sell of those rights converted shares?

x 0 x 0	sohguanh, just to clarify on that, I have already paid up and the cheque encashed. so rightfully, I am now holding on to the rights issue. My question is when will the rights issue be converted to ordinary shares for trading? Do excuse me if I do appear like a blurr sotong regarding the rights issue.

x 0 x 0	Very good observation and information Victorian. HG Metal holds well despite the ups and downs in the STI. But it is definitely slowly inching up. As the saying goes... slow and steady.... Looking at the fundamentals, I cannot but fully agree that it will soar when the year end result is out. By the way, anybody able to shed some light on when the rights issues will be converted to ordinary shares?
